'Gossamer Witchcraft' sees the start of what looks like a very promising career for Russian Gothic Metal Band Blackthorn. The cd features slow and mid paced rockers, coupled with the distinctive and somewhat innocent vocal style of Molly Sirenne. Couple this with Dan Profitt's crunching guitar riffs, and this is one helluva release. Femme Metal Webzine says: "The music on 'Out Of Time' speaks volumes about Rott's potential. Whether or not they put Idaho on the metal map remains to be seen, but I do know that Rott appear poised to carve their own niche in the metal world, and judging by the music eminating from this CD, they are off to a good start. 7.5/10".
